At Setac 2024 PHARMASEA presents toxicity results for psychotropic and cardiovascular drugs in zebrafish embryos.
Sharing knowledge is also an important part of the scientific world. For this reason, MSc Giulia Cafiero and Dr. Maria Fischer presented their toxicity results for different pharmaceuticals.
Dr. Maria Fischer presented behavioral changes in zebrafish (Danio rerio) embryos after exposure to paroxetine, sertraline and venlafaxine, while MSc Giulia Cafiero gave her first conference presentation. In front of the SETAC Pharmaceutical Interest Group audience, Giulia presented the observed effects of metoprolol and valsartan on the vascular system and heart rate. Both contributions were also available as posters and were received with interest and questions.
