A journey toward the environmental sustainability of pharmaceuticals has started thanks to the collaboration between PharmaSea and Angelini Pharma
The strong connection with industrial partners represents an important aspect to optimize the impact of PharmaSea results. Angelini Pharma is a member of the PharmaSea stakeholder panel: this pharmaceutical company is well known for being an international leader in healthcare, with particular strength and expertise in the fields of Mental Health and Epilepsy.
The collaboration with Angelini Pharma will support the characterization, in terms of consumption of various typologies of drugs in different European countries. This collaboration aims to elucidate the potential impact, and risk, of pharmaceutical compounds on aquatic environments through new ecotoxicological approaches and by proposing new environmental strategies.
