Such an exciting week for the PharmaSea Consortium attending the 21st International Symposium on Pollutants Responses in Marine Organisms in Gothenburg
The International Symposium series, “Pollutant Responses in Marine Organisms” began in 1981 with a small group of National Science Foundation-funded investigators who were addressing questions related to “Chemical Effects and the Health of the Ocean” at a mechanistic level.
Prof. Francesco Regoli, Dr. Marica Mezzelani (UNIVPM), Prof. Daniela Pampanin, Dr. Jason Magnuson (UiS) and Dr. Maria Fischer (UHEI) had the pleasure to meet and discuss about ongoing and future PharmaSea activities with Prof. Daniel Schlenk from University of California Riverside (UCR) member of the PharmaSea Advisory Board as external scientist of recognized international experience on environmental contamination!
A great opportunity for Dr. Marica Mezzelani (UNIVPM) to present first results on interactive effects caused by the antiepileptic Carbamazepine and the antihypertensive Valsartan on the Mediterranean mussels Mytilus galloprovincialis.
